It's inside of the gas tank, siphon the gas out before removing the tank, no worries it's a simple job and you'll get it!

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump shutoff switch located on a 1996 chevy silverado 1500 located

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

SOURCE: 1995 silverado 5.7 driving down road suts down.

I would advise diagnosing this problem when its in this no-start condition. I would not overlook ignition problems and the loss of spark as modules can break down and stop working once heated up,then work again once cooled off. Key on engine off will run the fuel pump for 3 seconds and you can hear the fuel pump running.I generally get concerned if it sounds abnormal like louder and whining which means the pump is failing.Bottom line this engine needs air/fuel/spark to run so check for these items while in the no start condition...good luck

I need a wiring diagram for 1995 2500 6.5 turbo diesel electric fuel pump circuit

The primary (coils) side of the fuel pump relay is powered by the CRANK fuse (10 Amp) located in the instrument panel fuse block. This fuse is hot ONLY when the ignition switch is in the CRANK position. The secondary (contact) side of the relay is powered by the ECM-B fuse (20 Amp) which is hot at all times. This fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse block. The electric fuel pump in the tank only operates during engine cranking.

Can you tell me where the fuel pump is located on a 95 5.7V8 Silverado? We have changed the fuel filter and checked the battery, but it is still dying. We're thinking fuel pump, but could it be anything...

The pump is located in the tank. Can you here the pump come on when you cycle the key on?If you try an alternative fuel such as throttle body cleaner and it starts and runs at least till it burns up the cleanen.Suspect a faulty fuel pump or connection to the fuel pump.
