Wow, 3 fans in car and we get to guess, why.?
first what are you doing.? (guess,i want cab heat to blow?)
parked key off?
hot engine wanting heat from HVAC vents
? what?
or under hood and radiator fans are dead but overheated.

HVAC is a blower fan,or blower, the fuse is called blow.
does blower sound ok on high???? SouND?
if yes (if no controls are bad)
is air flow weak. yes. that is dampers failing
both the blower and dampers and heater core are in the center
tor right(usa) of dash in hugh black box.
first check fuses
then scan the car. yes, you must scan it see HVAC errors
or its all just a waste of time..

some models have filter and packed up ,my block air flow
some have it others dont,. not fun finding it.
most are behind glove box (after removal)

Need to find location of coolant fan relay and sensor for 1990 pontiac sunbird ?

if your rad coolant fan is not working check the fan itself as this is a common problem on these cars. disconnect the plug from the fan motor and run jumper wires directly from battery to the fan motor terminals. if the fan doesn`t run replace fan motor. if it does run the check fuses then fan relay. the relay is in the relay box, the coolant sensor for the fan motor is in the head that goes into a coolant passage that has a 2 wire connector.

Fans only kick on when I run my ac. I replace my coolant sensor still nothing. I have checked the fuses. Where do i go from here?

Sounds like this may be a faulty fan motor, the low speed in these fan assemblys go bad, but the hi speed works when the a/c is turned on. I would check for the cooling fan relay first... you can usually switch this relay with another relay of the same and see if that makes the fan kick on, if it doesn't then i would go with replacing the electric cooling fan motor. Hope this helps

Heater / air conditioner fan control doesn't engage fan. Previously, it only worked in high speed.

I would replace the blower motor resistor first then see if that corrects this. The resistor is located next to the blower motor under the dash.

My car is RAV4 toyota blow fan not working on 1,2,3 but #4 working only I replace switch but same as before,Please would give what I do next. Thank you.

Sounds like you have a bad blower motor resistor (manual HVAC). The resistor is just that a set of resistors in serious that drop voltage to regulate fan speed. Speed one uses all the resistors to drop the voltage the most. Speed for doesn't use the resistors so full power can be used by the blower motor to make it work at full speed.

The resistor is typically located near the blower motor under the passenger side of the dash. and will have 4-5 wires going to it.

The low/med/high fan switch on my 1985 Toyota pickup is no longer working, How do I replace the heater fan blower switch?

Hi,
Don't go there just yet ! Most heater motor speed problems relate to the heater resistor ! It's located in the ducting close to the motor assy and usually has 4/5 wires on to it and a 2 screw fixing. This componant must be cooled (hence air duct location) and is solely responsible for motor speeds ! You can check motor fan by test lamp/meter ! Good Luck

Speed fun control airconditioned doesn´t work property.

Two possible areas I would check using an ohm meter. First is the blower resistor which is usually located by the blower motor and looks like a cement rectangle or a ceramic tube with wires attached to it. The resistor should have very low resistance but should not read open from the common lead to the other terminals. If it tests good test the continuity of the fan switch. Some cars have a fuse for the high and low blower speeds so you can check your fuse diagram and look for two blower or fan fuses. Good Luck.

Lowes 3 fan speeds don't work

You need to replace the fan spped chip located under the hood....If you look under the hood at the blower motor, you will see the power plug for it. Follow the wires down to the chip board they run into That is your problem area.....power chanels 1,2, & 3 are burned out pull the 2 bolts and remove the board, replace with a new one...You can buy used if you like but odds are they'll have an issue with them too. Real easy fix.
