Changed the computer and damaged the harnest plug.
Yes it can be done but only by a qualified mechanic. if all goes well, new codes may not need be installed. hope this helps.
We need more info on just how you damaged the harness plug. If it is just the clip that locks it on to the pcm (the proper name of the computer on a jeep is Powertrain Control Module) simply wrap the unit with a zip tie to lock it in place. pulled tight a cable tie will hold tighter than the plastic clip on the plug,

You say you changed the cam sensor. A1391 code is a crank sensor on the top of the trans. bell housing.

My 98 Cherokee was the exact same. I used to have to turn the key back and forth 3 times and then it would start. Otherwise it would just crank and crank for a while and then start. Pretty embarrassing! Took it to the dealer and they said that my fuel pump was losing pressure. I changed the fuel pump and I don't have to prime the pump anymore.

yah direct ignition coil pack does away for the need a a distributer cap and rotor.much higher energy ignition system where the computer tell when to fire.if that helps.not hard to change.as long as you change them one at a time so you don't screw up the order.
