i have came across this on one of these before and it was the element that heats the seat had broken ,and ive had one where it was an electrical problem (switch )
SOURCE: Bad oil leak driver side front fender
There is an adapter for the oil filter with 2 lines coming out of it above the drive shaft from the transfer case to the front differential. The O ring on these will go sometimes causing loss of oil. Also check the 2 lines for leaks and cracks.

Hi,
not quite sure if you mean the vehicle actually 'wanders' somewhat and the steering needs to be corrected to keep directionally stable. The swaying, as you term it, could be a question of correct tyres being fitted and correct pressures applied. The shock absorbers also contribute to the vehicles stability.
next would be the steering ball joints and track rod etc. Worn front wheel bearings can make the vehicle "wander'. The anti-roll or sway bar, if the mounting points are worn will also contribute to an unstable vehicle, like wise upper and lower ball joints on the front axle, will also add to the problem.
Have to say, at 70 MPH plus, any faults in the front end of the vehicle will be maximised, and very evident.
If there are leaf springs fitted to the rear axle, having a broken locating spring seat bolt can cause the vehicle to behave in a like manner.
Good luck.
