SOURCE: need a wiring diagram

Unfortunately, this type of information is not provided by the manufacturer's as a download. However, there still remain's a solution. You can go to most automotive supply stores, and purchase manuals for your vehicle that contain step by step proceedure's to repairing almost everything on your car, these manuals usually also detail the electrical wiring in diagrams in the back of the manuals.

You can find these manuals at most automotive stores such as Autozone, Petboys and such. They usually rin from $8 - $20+ depending on how detailed the manuals are.

SOURCE: Lincoln Town Car 1999 driver side window switch

I have the same problem in my 2001 towncar. I removed the switch control panel (without removing the door panel) by prying up from the front of the panel. There's a spring loaded plug under the mirror adjustment. Once you get that pulled up, the whole unit will lift out. Since there's a two year difference in the models - it MAY not work... however, you might not have to remove the whole door panel as you think.
In my case, the wiring was bad.

1994 Lincoln Town Car 4.6L V8 Is it possible to find the wires for the blend door actuator in the harness? I want to clip them, so I don't have to tear the dash apart.

You might get by with simply pulling fuse 8. See diagrams at link below. If that shuts off something you need, see if you can clip the black ground wire to the actuator.

PASSENGER WINDOW IS THE ONLY WINDOW THAT WILL GO UP AND DOWN. HOW CAN IT BE FIXED?

If all other windows wont work, I would suspect bad master switch on drivers door or broken wire in harness to drivers door. This wire harness goes through door in boot between inside of door & kick panel. Because of use, opening & closing, wires break or corrode. Pull boot apart look for obvious breaks or green corroded wires.

Need computer location in 2005 lincoln towncar

The code is on a paper label attached to a large plastic box containing several wiring harnesses behind the driver side door panel. Posts about it being on the trunk hinge arms, behind trunk panels, on computer module, behind the fuse box, and 'you have to go to the dealer' are incorrect for this series of Town Cars. After you remove the panel (you do not need to disconnect any wires), you will see the box up near the rear view mirror. An example code (3/4) (1/2) (5/6) (9/0) (1/2). If you press the keypad buttons in this order, left to right, the door locks will operate in the manner described in your opwner's manual.

Do a search on door panel removal to learn how to remove the panel. There are some good posts on this topic - some even have pictures.

Can not find wiring harness for '95 lincoln towncar

If you cant find the wiring harness i'd suggest you snip the adapter of and join the wires up *Correctly of course*

Modern CD players normally have a sticker or information on which wire does what on the CD player.

You just have to work out the ones on the Lincoln then.
