Have had thousands of dollars in repairs and still idles rough, mostly when at a stop
Throttle Position Sensor? Has that been replaced? Relatively inexpensive and easy to do yourself..
Cleaned the Air Mass Flow Sensor?
Cleaned Throttle Body?
Have the spark plugs and wires been checked?
Have you had the engine codes scanned? Many parts stores will do this for you for free.
Does it feel like the transmission is putting a strain on the engine?
Have you checked/changed...
Leaking or loose vacuum line?
PCV Valve? (Replace)
EGR valve? (Clean and/or Replace)
Plugs and wires? (Replace)
Mass Air Flow Sensor? (Clean)
Throttle Body? (Clean)
Fuel Injectors? (Clean)
Throttle Position Sensor? (usually this will cause the idle to rev up a little then come back down, but can cause rough idle)

the only problem that vehicle has is with cooling fans is relay/module or electrical harness to module that burns up located behind and under right front headlamp assy must remove headlamp to access relay/module that is what powers up fan motor module assy.

hi there, sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator. a bad regulator will cause it to misfire and idle rough. also does it run good at higher rpm if it does i would be 80% sure that would be your problem

I had the same problem. It was getting to where the car stalled every time I stopped. I took it to the dealer and they told me that I needed a new Idle Air Control Motor and a complete fuel injection service (including spark plugs and wires). The price tag...only $750.00. I went online to a few different forums and consulted a trusted technician in my hometown and was able to fix it myself. The problem was carbon buildup on the throttle body. It sounds difficult to fix, but it is right at the top of the engine and easily accessible. Click here for directions to clean the throttle body. I suggest the one where you remove teh throttle body first, you can get it much cleaner that way. I know the link is for a 2004 and older, but it is the same process for 2005 and up. For the cost of a can of throttle body cleaner and some shop towels, it is worth it. Total cost to do it myself was $6.50 (yes, six dollars and fifty cents) and about an hour. It has not stalled since and that was about 6 weeks ago.
