SOURCE: cigarette lighter

I had the same problem, and was able to replace the fuse quite easily. I'm not sure which fuse exactly is the correct one, but I DO know the fuse is in the engine not in the interior of the car. You should be able to find exactly which fuse on the internet.

SOURCE: cigarette lighter does not work

This is Fuse 32 under the hood in the fuse box. I had a problem with this fuse as well. I don't smoke so didn't care when I first realized my lighter didn't work, but my check engine light came on and when I took it to get the engine code read, the part they connect to under the dash (ODBII) would not give them a code. I left the store not knowing why my check engine light was on and annoyed there was another problem to fix. After a few hours of troubleshooting with my Dad, we figured out the same fuse that controls the lighters is the same one that powers the OBDII system, and Onstar as well. I hope that info helps someone else.

SOURCE: where is the fuse for cigerette lighter

For 2003 Buick Rendezvous, check the Fuse #32 for FRONT Power Outlets/cigarette lighter problem. The fuses are numbered in the owners manual.

This fuse is in the fuse box under the hood; not at the passenger side compartment. It is a yellow 20AMP fuse in the middle left area of the fuse box.

Its possible that you can find this and other interesting information here, in the Owners Manual (page 410).

Hope this help (remember comment and rated this help).

Cigarette lighter on 2004 Grand Prix isn't working.

The lighter socket or the element.
Check the element for burn marks and the socket for debris blocking the contacts.

Fuse blown on cigarette lighter, what number fuse do I need ?

Fuse 47 a 15amp fuse is for the cigarette lighter..it's located behind the glove box which you can drop down for easy access.
The "glove box" is the little box that opens on the left side, under the instrument gauges near the left door.......Not the big glove box on the right hand side.

Fuse for the cigarette lighter in Infinity FX35

is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked, there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem, try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers

Could you tell me where the fuse is for cigarette lighter on 1998 Buick park ave.

It is located in the fuse box inside car. However, many GM vehicles share fuses with multiple devices. The radio fuse may also operate the cigarette lighter, and so on. My 1991 LeSabre shared fuses. Check fuses to see if any are blown.

Need location of fuse box containing cigarette lighter fuse

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.

Blown fuse

This fuse is most likely located under the hood in the fuse box, usually located on the right fender well. It also houses relay etc. You will find the burnt fuse there for sure.
