Clutch intermittently makes a high-pitched squeal. Started since my last maintenance at the dealership and is slowly getting worse. What are potential problems? 2007 Saturn Ion quad.

You have a failed clutch throw out bearing

Need to check the ground path on the squealing relay. A poor ground will cause this condition.

Yes, all manuals with clutches have a clutch release bearing, or throw-out bearing as used to be called. If old or worn or bad, they can make a whistling noise or high pitched squeal.

The high pitch squeal ia most likely the serpentine belt on the front of the engine you can buy some belt dressing from the part store and put it on there and fix that or some soap will work also, the belt may also need to be tightened. As for the egg smell if it smells like eggs it's the catylitic converter doing it's job and is normal, although you should not be able to smell it inside the car when driving you may have an exhaust leak and could be very dangerous carbon monoxide exposure.

sounds like u may have a hole somewhere or maybe turbo aint getting enough oil does it sound like a turbine ?
