SOURCE: location of low pressure port A/c to added 134a

Down low between the radiator and the engine. Look for the cap. Very hard to reach without burning your hand if the engine is hot. I had to rig a much longer hose to add 134a so the can would be upright while putting it in.

Temperature won't change from ac to heat in 2015 Chevy equinox

There are two ports in the air conditioning system of Equinox. One is labelled H for high-pressure and the other one is labelled L for low-pressure. You can recharge your AC through the low-pressure port with a do it yourself AC recharge kit.Shake the canister briefly and release the refrigerant into the system until the recommended pressure has been achieved. Note: See next section for recommended pressure values

Location of ac low pressure port location 2004 chevorlet avalanch

Look back on the firewall for the two a/c lines. One is large and on is much smaller. The larger line is the low pressure line. Follow that line back to the compressor. The low pressure port will be on that line.

1991 Mercedes Benz AC Cycling Switch /Compressor Clutch Won't Engage Completly Spins 1/6 of a complete spin repetedly then stops

You need to have the refrigerant charge level checked, it sounds like it is low. You Need a set of AC pressure gauges to do this testing. If the system has a low charge the pressures will be very low in the low side testing port.

How to recharge recharge airconditioner

Hi, determine if your car uses R134 or R12 refrigerant. You will notice screw type connectors on the both the High Pressure Side and Low Pressure Side lines in models using R12 refrigerant. R134 compatible models have quick connect valves on both sides. Models made before 1995 may use the old R12 refrigerant. If this is the case, you must have your Chrysler's air conditioning system retrofitted to use R134 refrigerant. Mixing R12 and R134 refrigerants is dangerous and may cause damage to your vehicle. Check your air conditioning system pressure using an automotive air conditioning pressure gauge. Keep in mind that in order to get an accurate reading, the air conditioner has be turned on the coldest setting with maximum blowing power. Remove the Low Pressure Side port valve cap and set it aside. The location of the port varies, but it is usually in front of the engine block. Attach the refill hose to the port on the Low Pressure Side of the air conditioning system. The Low Pressure Side port is smaller the High Pressure Side port. Because the ports are different sizes, the refill kit hose should fit only on the Low Pressure Side port. Additionally, the High Pressure Side port will usually have a red cap or be marked with an H or the word High Allow the air conditioner to **** the refrigerant out of the can by slowly turning the valve on the refill kit hose. Pay attention to the way you hold the can. Most kits will have you hold the can upright when you recharge the air conditioning system. It may take as long as 10 minutes to empty a single can. Turn the valve to the off position and remove the refill hose from the port. Recap the port before closing the hood. Let the air conditioner stay on for at least 30 minutes. This allows the refrigerant to move throughout the entire system.

FACING THE CAR, WHERE IS THE EXACT LOCATION TO ADD FREON TO A 1997 CHEVY MALIBU. WE FOUND A RED CAP BUT UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT WHERE YOU SHOULD ADD. HELP .....

The low pressure refrigerant port is near the firewall2.gif, just after the receiver/dryer. You'll need a gauge and preferably an ac test manifold. You can use the manifold to add refrigerant up to the point where the system maintains the pressure level in the green area. There should be a blue cap on the low pressure valve.
I believe your malibu take's 12 ounce's of R134, don't over charger the system. You'll blow O rings and worst kill the A/C compressor.
Good luck and hope this helps. Here is a link for A/C recharging. http://www.geocities.com/vantaray/air_conditioning.htm

AC Low Pressure location on 2004 Chevy Suburban

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.

The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it.
Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.

Regards.

AC STOPPED BLOWING COLD; ONLY BLOWS ON MAX MANUAL SETTING

Your AC is low on refrigerant; The AC compressor needs a minimum amount of regrigerant to run. If and when it does run (while low on refrigerant) the air coming out of the vents will not be cold. The refrigerant you require is R-134A and is available over the counter but if you are the least bit unsure as to how to add refrigerant, taking it to a garage that does AC recharging would be your best play. If you want to try to add refrigerant on your own you will need the following, 1LB can of R-134A, an AC hose adapter to deliver the refrigerant, and preferably an AC pressure guage to ensure you are not overfilling the AC line which will damage the system.

AC has stopped blowing cold air. Compressor is working. Where is the recharge valve located?

There are two A/C refrigerant lines. The small line is your high pressure line and the larger line is your low pressure line.
Start at the fire wall and follow the "large " low pressure line to the compressor. The low pressure charge port will be some where on that line.
DO NOT try to recharge on the high pressure side ( small line )
Good luck, let me know.
