Go to your local shucks or auto zone and they can check any codes behind your check engine light and it's free. It sounds like one of two things a O2 sensor or your mass airflow sensor but they will tell you for sure

the 2000 s-10 came with optional engine the 4.3 LT V6 262 engine should bolt right in -- rear is fine but u will need all the electronics for engine and trans -the trans bolt up is different from the 4 to the 6 engine bell housing ,clutch ,slave etc the trans itself should be usable if u get the proper bell housing

These are oil cooler lines and there are 2 sets of 2 and should be replaced, Fairly easy but messy. If one blows apart you run the risk of causing severe engine damage.

i assume your talking noid light for the injector.have you checked for battery voltage at the injector and for the ground side of the circuit at the injector as either one missing it won`t work.the injector is grounded by the computer and the power is supplied when the key is turned on.these are the two places to start to check.
This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control
