Well here is a video of the TD42: https://youtu.be/aSN5V3uDD7c
I couldn't find much of any information on the TB42, but when i looked up the parts for it like the camshaft and cam gear- the parts didn't seem to cross over to a TD42. So i believe that there is a strong possibility that they are different. If you have a TB42, maybe you could compare that to the video and see if you see any differences.
all you want is in service and repair manual with diagram and you can get the manual from the given link which will help you to fix the problem by your own http://toolsnyou.com/
Slide under the trans area and disconnect any electrical connectors you see and check for moisture and dry them out. While you are under there look for anything disconnected that has a place to connect to.You may also have to disconnect the battery for 10 mins.
If dealer will not provide, there are books available which have nothing but vacuum diagrams. FYI, most newer cars have basic vacuum diagrams on a sticker somewhere under the hood. Dirt often prevents one from seeing it.
