SOURCE: blower fan only works on high

If it is working at all then the relay and fuse is good and the problem is either the little vacuum hose on the back of the control switch panel or the panel itself.

SOURCE: 2003 Suburban heater fan will not working.

1st attach a test light from negative battery terminal to voltage wire at blower motor and test for power
2nd attach a test light from positive battery terminal
to ground wire at blower motor and test for ground

if both tests light the test light suspect blower motor
if no ground suspect resistor
if no power suspect short in voltage wire
these vehicles are known for burning out the wire
connection at the blower motor look for discoloration
at the plug
i hope this helps

Blower fan for the AC on 1994 Van C20 stopped working, where is the fuse or what can I check

the fuses are under the dash on the drivers side.if the fuses are good then the next thing to check is the blower motor resistor under the hood by the blower motor.there should be about 4 wires that are in the plug maybe 5.the resistor is about 3" by 1.5" in size and is held in the air box by 2 bolts.with the fan turned on check the large wire at the blower resistor,it should have battery voltage.if it does then take out the resistor assembly, you will see 3-4 resistors that look like wound up wires of different sizes and lengths.there is the possibilty that it could be the fan control switch on the control head on the dash.

The fan stopped working for the rear AC/heat in our 2003 odyssey. Checked 40amp suqare fuse under hood and it tested ok. Is there a fuse or breaker for the rear fan motor?

The large fuse you checked is for the rear fan blower motor. The fuse you need to check is for the fan motor relays and rear mode control motor. It is fuse No. 3 (7.5A) located in the driver's under dash kick panel fuse box.

If fuse No. 3 is blown and you replace the fuse and it blows immediately, you'll have to check the five relays and the mode control motor all located near the rear A/C unit in the right aft sidewall. Most likely, the mode control doors have become jammed and that is why the fuse blows. The doors shift air from overhead vents (cool) to floor vents (heat).

If the fuse is fine, the trouble is probably with the blower motor itself or the wiring to the blower motor is broken, or there is a bad ground.

The AC/Heater only works on the highest setting #4 .. I checked the blower motor fuse and it is fine, I need to know what I will have to replace because I have only one fan speed to use and want to fix it...

That is your resistor for the blower fan....Its shot. Located usually under the hood on passengers side bolted or screwed into the firewall....Sometimes you have to remove the plastic between the windsheld and hood to get to it.

My 2002 Dodge dakota King cab 4.7 litre V8 ac/heater fan quit on me yesterday. I get an ac light when the ac button is selected and a little residual air flow when in motion but the blower motor rotary...

Look for a plastic black plate of rectangular shape. Thics could be under the hood on the pass. side firewall or under the dash on the pass. side. It will be attached to the ac/Heater box with to 5/16 hex head screws. The plate will have four push terminals connected to it by a singular connector plug. This is your blower resistor and controls the # 2 3 4 speeds from the switch. They go without notice. take it out and look for signs of burnt or melted coils.

The heater quit working and the panel wont light up on a 1992 Chevrolet pickup

check the "blower motor fuse" "heater fuse" and ac fuse and relay. these will be located under the dash on the drivers side usually mounted near the foot rest next to the door AND under the hood along the fender on the passenger side.

Heater does not blow out any air

There is a fuse panel under the dash on the driver's side and the maxi-fuse box is under the hood on the driver's side. If the fuses are good, it is probably the blower fan which is located under the dash on the passenger's side. (Behind the glove box.)
