How to open the back latch

If the button doesn't work. Climb to the back, there is a plastic plug at the bottom of the panel. Remove it and insert a screw driver. Catch onto the latch and push it left or right ( I can't remember which way) when you hear it click, push the hatch out and open. You have to put it on a scanner to find the problem. Could be the switch, BCM, wiring, or the latch.

How do I turn off the interior light and keep the back hatch open? We love going to the drive ends but the inside lighte wont turn off...

I do this almost daily, while working on or cleaning cars. Open drivers door, put key in ignition so that the chimes are dinging. Now, look at the latch on the open door, you can see a "U" shaped latch arm, using a screwdriver, pretend its the striker on the post, and push the latch arm back until it clicks twice. The dinging should stop, and the interior light will go off, just as if the door was closed. Now, if the latch on the rear hatch is similar, you should be able to "trick" it the same way.

Before you attempt to close the door(s) or the hatch, pull the handle as if you were opening it. The latch should pop back to it's "open" position. If not use the screwdriver to pull on it while pulling the handle. Do let me know if your now "IN THE DARK"!!

The back glass after opening it, it wont close unless i stick my hand inside the door panel and push the lever that allows the glass to shut. i am trying to find the part for it and i am not having any...

Its called the rear glass latch or rear window latch. It would be available thru a dodge dealership, but obviously expensive. You may try a large parts store like Autozone or Pep Boyz. The third alternative is to call auto wreckers in your area. Its the same latch from 2000-2005 Liberty's. It isn't that hard to remove. The rear door panel needs to be removed, then the latch is attached with 2 bolts, and an electric cable.

Rear window will not latch

This is a little difficult to explain, but I'll try. So please take that into consideration in the rating. If you look at the latch, it is probably closed/latched. Take a screwdriver and put it in there the upper latch would be if it had closed properly. As a surrogate for the latch. Put outward pressure on the latch at the same time you operate the back window release as you usually would to get it back in the open position. Your latch thinks it's closed, so use the screwdriver to release it back into the open position.

Cant get the rear bench in

The front bottom connections goes in first. You have to lift the back of the bench up and slide the u-shaped connections under the rods. Once there in, then lower the back of the bench. The back has latches that should spring open and around the rods in the floor opening. You should be able to actually drop the back of the bench and they should "seat", however it is better to place the back of the bench on top of the rods, and using the lever located on the bottom of the bench - open the latches; causing the latches to grab the rod.

The latch for the door on my '92 Corsica is stuck upright preventing me from closing the door. What can I do to get it open.

You should be able to pull the handle and while holding the handle use a screwdriver to pop the latch back to a "open" position. If the latch does not release then it might be broken and stuck in that position. Just use the screw driver and insert it into the latch opening to simulate the latch hook. The try moving it back while holding the handle open. Hopefully this gets the latch back into position. You should also lubricate the latch with a small amount of white grease to keep the latch from sticking.

My door latch will not lock in to place. It is below freezing and I dont know if the door is broke or the latch is just stuck

Likely it's just stuck. Spray it with wd 40 or other solvent and make sure the latch hook is open. If it's not, pull the door release handle (like you are opening the door) and gently pry the hook back to the open position.
