Have to actually take the head lamp out to replace the flasher lights up front. they are kind of hidden and have a cap that covers the back that can be twisted off

The flashers are located under the dash where your knees hit tucked up in there take that off then listen it is a big thing hidden and hard to get to mine cost 70 dollars
Try looking up under the dash just above the brake pedal. If you still can't find it turn on the 4 ways because turn signal and 4 ways use the same flasher on that model. You should be able to hear it clicking. Good luck.

control module" part # 13c788. Cost junk
yard around $50. There is no stand alone flasher relay as in the older
or more senseably engineered and cheaper cars.

Your Tbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the driver's side, under the dash, mounted right above the kick panel. The hazard relay is in the very same spot. Turn on the hazard lights, and feel of them. The one you feel clicking is not the one you want to replace. Replace the other one. I would appreciate a good rating for this free answer.
I just had this problem with my 97 TBird. My local repair shop replaced the blower motor. Parts and labor total was less than 160.00. I figure It'll last me for another 185,000 miles.
If you still have flasher problems, I read on Google to spray WD-40 down in and around the hazzard flasher button, then press it up and down several times...and BINGO...all flashers and signals worked again....just had some dirt and dust in the wiring....
