I have a 2005 land cruiser. It has a slow acceleration and begins to vibrate from underneath as the acceleration increases. Can you advise please? Thanks

do you hear a loud hissing sound when you take off?
Could be the cat converter.

if not that, I've seen CV axles that caused poor take off and vibration.

let me know what you find.

Mazda cx9 vibration

Raise the vehicle off the ground, wiggle front tires left and right, excessive play tells you tie rods, up and down tells the wheel bearing condition, but have another set of eyes looking on the inside while wiggling tires, too see excessive play. Lower ball joint can be seen during this test. And make sure wheel spins freely, siezed brake calipers can make higher speeds shake too. Lastly look at centre drive shaft condition. Hope this solves thr mystery. HTV Auto Body

Loud Vibration / Sound Under Acceleration And Starting Engine.

Get the engine mounts checked. A bad mount may allow part of the engine to lie on a body or frame part, allowing engine vibrations to become very loud. Torquing of the engine (under load) can cause the same type problems.

2001 Impala, strong right to left vibration felt in the front end ONLY when accelerating, NOT felt through steering wheel NOT felt when coasting, or slowing down, strait or turning vehicle tracks...

Has to be a drive axle, most likely an inner joint, should be able to feel the play if one is bad (jacked up to let the wheel spin freely).
Also. If the front suspension is weak,or lowered, the CV axle will bottom out in the inner plunge cup and make a terrible vibration.

Begin to accelerate vehicle sputters and vibrates

The vibration could be caused by regular misfiring of the engine. I'd check for vacuum leaks, failed ignition wiring; check at night for sparks under the hood where they don't belong. If the wiring hasn't been changed since the truck was new, it's probably overdue. Bad wiring can also become sensitive to high ambient moisture too.
