I would guess the problem would be located with the drivers door harness. All of these items are controlled from the same place, remove door panel and check harness connectors for tightness and water damage.
I have this same issue,I'm told other kia's also have this issue. Friend of mmine says little pin/rod that goes from lock 2 handle needs adjusting, don't know.have body shop check it out 4 u or call kia.I'm sure they have heard of this problem. That's what i'm gonna do if I can get mine running, been down 4 about 2 wks. good luck
U will have to take the inside door cover off and manualy open it. And replace the electric door locking switch. Very common problem. Get the new lock and latch assembly from dealer,
It sounds like the connecting rod popped out of its plastic connector. Pull the door panel off and check both ends of the rod. It must be unhooked at one end or the other.
My friend just had this problem and he reached in and pulled the inside door handle back as far as it would go, and then let it go, allowing it to 'snap' back. For some reason this fixed it. We have no idea why. By doing this on one door, both rear door locks freed up and the rear locks are now working. Before, both rear locks were stuck and you could not open the doors from the inside nor the outside. Not sure why it works, but maybe it will work for you!
I had a very similar situation. Was very annoying not being able to unlock or lock doors from pannel control nor from remote.
Only driver door can be opened with manual key.
Solution: One of the 15 amp purple fuses was blown. Fuses are located inside glove compartment, the interior end has to be removed releasing the two locks.
Use a light and the red tool located on the panel to remove fuses.
something came off inside your door, remove the panel and look for a plastic rod connector either off or broken. If it is off go get a new one their very cheap.
The other thing is the door lock actuator could be bad,you will know when you get inside, work the all the electric do dads and watch the motor react.
