Why does a battery sign means on a 2008 c class

it means alternator not charging the battery

Check if in warranty. Check if there is water in battery if its not a dry one. Recharge battery or replace if out of replacement warranty

do you see dash lights and headlights on when your ignition switch is on position if no check battery volts should be 12.5 volts.if not battery dead have battery checked out get it charged up.if battery dont charge up. it has a dead cell, if battery could be charged up,more likely alternator could be faulty causing dead battery. .

either battery is flat or its died a death on you ,yes i know the voltage may show 12v but the reserve amperage ??? it has none and it needs around 200 amps to turn over

You mean you try starting it, and it just clicks? That means your battery is dead, and you need to charge your battery, jumpstart your battery, or if it's the original battery it may be time to replace the battery.

Further clarify electric leaking? You mean that when the vehicle is off, somethine is still drawing power, draining your battery?

If so, turn off the vehicle, and go around making sure ALL your lights have turned off.
Battery drain is sometimes a hard thing to trace. It could basically be any wire on your vehicle.

hi it is located in the trunk/boot on the right hand side, remove the carpet and is under a cover ...hope this helps

it means that you need to have regular service work done by the dealer, service letter "C" disignates what is to be done, check the onwers manual or call your local dealer.
