SOURCE: transmission swap

yup, the motor and drive train are the same... if the wheel base is the same between the two trucks, than you can also use the drive shaft from it too

I have a 1993 Chevrolet c-1500 truck with A/C. It is not blowing cold. I noticed that the sticker on the compressor says R-12. What can I put in that is safe?

You Must Change over to 134-A and this Requires Replacment of All Internal Rubber "O" Rings
Although I Have Purchased the ADAPTER Fitting and Just Filled My Personal Vehicles With 134-a With No Problem

How do you remove the armrest on a1993 blazer 1500

Undo the 2 screws in the slot where your fingers fit. It should lift off although on some GM's you have to slide the arm rest ahead to get it off. Hope this helps.

I just put a transmission from a 1994 chevy 1500 onto my 1993 chevy 1500. it fit perfectly but the wiring harness is different. is there an adapter for this application? if so, and i install it will i need...

what color is the inside of the trans connector on the trans itself? I believe the 93/94s were a tan yellowish color. 1995 and up are different and won't work - electronics are different

If they have exactly the same amount of solenoids, you could switch the harnesses.... but it sounds like you have a 95 or newer trans which would have one more solenoid

1993 chevy 1500 starting problem

I think your engine has a vacuum leak, check all of your hoses, and carb fittings.
If your engine cannot get enough vacuum it will not be able to draw enough fuel to run.
