Welcome to Fixya

There is a fuse box/relay under the hood. Check the box if there are blown fuse and relays that you need to replaced.

The blower motor for the ac in my 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor will not turn on. The control panel works as far as a.c. to heat back to a.c. Could this be due to a faulty resistor?

Could be. Older vehicles often had big resistors to control the fan speed. Modern vehicles like yours commonly have flat film resistor networks that are inserted into the air flow for cooling. Have a look for a cable connecting to the heat/AC plenums, behind the glovebox. If such a cable exists, see if there's a 1 or 2 screws that hold a flat film device. If its burned, it will be obvious.

What would cause my 2007 Mitsubishi, Outlanders blower motor to stop working? Fuses good.

Have you checked your blower relay in the under-hood relay / fuse block? I found a photo that may help you identify which it is. If the other relays in the block are the same type (all markings the same), you can swap one out for it to see if that fixes it before moving in deeper.

How to test a blower motor resistor to see if it srtill works

there is a resistor for each speed of the motor and it is unusual to blow all resistors as the lower resistors still allow the motor to work. Check for power supply and switch problems and you will need the ignition switch to ne on to get power. Check that you actually have resistors as later models use a module to control blower speeds and this stops the blower if it fails.

2007 passat s model heater blower fan only works on setting no. 4 ?!

It's the resistor. You can replace the part for around $40 or repair the part for around $2. Prevent the part from failing again be refurbishing your blower motor. Here are two videos showing you how to accomplish this...

Blower motor only works on high

This is a problem that is due in every case to a failed blower motor speed control resistor. the blower motor resistor is located right next to the blower motor and the wiring harness connector sticks out of the air ducting that cools it.

Trouble shoot blower motor switch

Often times the problem is the blower resistor not the switch.
You would use a meter or a test light to check for power at the resistor and also the switch. The resistor controls power to the blower motor to adjust speed.

Heater is on high will not change to a/c or lower speeds

The blower motor resistor is bad. First, determine if the resistor is separate from the blower motor. Most resistors are built into the blower motor. If separate, replace resistor. If not replace blower motor.
