The code 10 for srs (air bags) is the thermal fuse inside the
diagnostic monitor is blown, it will do this if vehicle was in an accident, airbags were deployed and crash sensors trigger, safing sensors were also triggered or if the circuit to the monitor was at one point shorted to ground blowing fuse.a code 10 is just telling you the monitor thermal fuse is no good snd you must replace module. But if vehicle was not in an accident and you had a different code flashing at some point, usually a code 5 showing a hard fault short,or if it's flashing that now, this MUST be repaired BEFORE the new monitor is put in or you will ruin new monitor, and there not cheap.
