Sometimes the car manual has instructions on how to do so.

Testimonial: "This vehicle has only 250 Kms on it. Only driven home from the dealer. I checked the manual first. I am trying to avoid the 250 km x 2 trip back to the dealer. The dealer said codes like that may take a week to disappear, and I find that answer unacceptable. Yes, I have checked the manual!"

This code refers to the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit being high. The two most common problems of this code are a faulty sensor and/or faulty pressure regulator. A wiring/computer issue can also contribute to this code. I have had success with numerous vehicles displaying this code by changing the fuel pressure sensor and correcting the problems you have stated

What is ford tsb 13-3-5

FORD: A TSB for a PCM update.

The article supersedes TSB 12-3-17 to update the Title, Issue Statement and Service Procedure.

ISSUE:

Some 2009-2010 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 4.6L or 5.4L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P0130 (Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 1, Sensor 1) or P0150 (Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2, Sensor 1).

ACTION:

Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

  1. Retrieve all DTC's in the powertrain control module (PCM). Are diagnostic trouble codes P0130 or P0150 present?
    1. Yes - proceed to Step 2.
    2. No - this procedure does not apply. Refer to Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) diagnostics.
  2. Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 78.01 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.3 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com. NOTE: PLEASE ADVISE THE CUSTOMER THAT THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN ADAPTIVE TRANSMISSION SHIFT STRATEGY WHICH ALLOWS THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER TO LEARN THE TRANSMISSION'S UNIQUE PARAMETERS AND IMPROVE SHIFT QUALITY. WHEN THE ADAPTIVE STRATEGY IS RESET, THE COMPUTER WILL BEGIN A RE-LEARNING PROCESS. THIS RE-LEARNING PROCESS MAY RESULT IN FIRMER THAN NORMAL UPSHIFTS AND DOWNSHIFTS FOR SEVERAL DAYS.

2. If leakage/compression check indicates a valve train concern, per valve train diagnostics in WSM, Section 303-00, replace cylinder head and cam assembly, pipe plugs and timing chain tensioner, per procedure outlined in WSM, Section 303-01.
3. If cylinder leakage and compression tests are inconclusive, perform misfire diagnostic, per TSB 05-22-8.

PO456 is most times a gas cap or gasket,
to get an incorrect gear ratio the transmission has probably started to slip.

Change the fluid and filter first off in the transmission and use only atf+4 fluid and possibly the govenor pressure sensor, and change gas cap.

2001 Buick Century with code p1232 LF wheel speed sensor short or open. Have already replaced hub/sensor assembly, EBCM, and cut out old/spliced in redesigned harness as per tsb. Code continues to set...

wire going to sensor breaks inside the insulation the plug may look ok by looking at it but if you grab hold of one wire at a time right where they go into the connector on the wheel sensors and give a good tug. If wire pulls away from the connector then it means that the connector is bad and wire was broken behind the insulation
