The problem is a 1/8 diameter hose that runs from the front of the engine over the top and connects at the rear of engine on the drivers side. It is a vacuum hose #GM15967970 It cost about $6.22 at your GM dealer. Hope this helps Bill. My E-Mail is [email protected]

have you checked the idle control connector where it plugs into your throttle body for a good connection.
SOURCE: light came on code PO507
It may be a throttle position sensor, or the wiring harness for IAC (idle control valve).

SOURCE: How to locate idle air control valve?
It's located on the left rear of throttle body assembly. I looks like a small metal cylinder with two bolts and an oval plug with 4 prongs. Yes you can change it yourself. If you can't find it, go to your local auto parts store and have them show you a picture.

Are there any codes/check engine light?
