How often do i replace the timing belt on a 2011 ford fiesta se sedan 1.6L?

The recommended interval for replacing the timing belt on a 2011 Ford Fiesta SE sedan with a 1.6L engine may vary depending on the manufacturer's recommendations and your driving habits. However, many automakers recommend replacing the timing belt every 60,000 to 100,000 miles, or every 5 to 7 years, whichever comes first.
It is important to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle to ensure that the timing belt is replaced at the appropriate interval. If the timing belt fails, it can cause serious damage to the engine and result in costly repairs.
If you are unsure about the recommended interval for replacing the timing belt on your vehicle, you can check the owner's manual or consult with a mechanic. They will be able to provide you with the specific recommendations for your vehicle and help you determine the appropriate maintenance schedule.

2004 camry with 104,000 miles, no problems just wondering what needs maintenance needs to be done?

Depends on what you have done so far.
The transmission fluid should have been replaced, the timing belt and water pump, spark plugs, serpentine belt, radiator hoses, and fuel filter should have been replaced at 75,000 miles or before.
There should be a maintenance schedule in the back of your owners manual with some guides.

At 100000km shall i need to change the timing chain for my 4.0L sohc ford explorer eddie baur and how about the fan belt?

With proper maintenance (ie, oil changes) a timing chain should last the life of the engine. It is not considered part of the normal scheduled maintenance. Even if you wanted to replace the timing chain you would not be able to without the timing chain kit that holds all the various parts in the correct alignment while the chain in being replaced. That will set you back about $500 to $600 us dollars.

Even if you had the kit you would have to pull the motor to replace all the timing chains. The passenger side cam is turned by a chain on the backside of the motor and is only serviceable with the engine removed from the vehicle. It is a really goofy setup!

As far as the serpentine belt there are a couple rules of thumb. If there are more than 3 cracks per inch it should be replaced. If it is making noise it should be replaced. Some newer belts will not show cracks and will need to be measured for wear out with a little plastic tool available form your local parts store. They may even have one for you to use quick.

As far as other scheduled maintenance on your vehicle you can check the owners manual. It will have a list of services at particular intervals. Your local ford dealer or independent repair shop will also be able to help you with what needs to be done.

Hope that helps, if you have any questions let me know! Thank you for using fixya.com

Was there scheduled maintenance due on the 2001 Kia Optima, example the timing belt?

The timing belt is due at 60,000 miles. This is real critical. If you are in nedd of a schedule to go by then email me at [email protected] and I can send you a full schedule. Also send how many miles are currently on the vehicle and which engine(4 or 6 cylinder). DO NOT SKIMP ON THESE, USE THE HYUNDAI/KIA OIL FILTERS!! There are current recalls regarding the oil filters and the oil light on the dash. I have worked at the dealer as a Master Tech, so please heed this warning.

Maintenance schedule

If the water pump is driven by the timing belt replace it and anything else that is driven by the timing belt(idlers and tensioner) , Also replace the camshaft and crankshaft oil seals while your there.
Never hurts to flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant/anti-freeze.
Hope this helps
