You started the right way.
It sounds like it needs a tune-up.
Change the sparkplugs - Use Autolite Platinum ($3.87 for two at WalMart; $6 each at AutoZone)

Also, check for faulty sparkplug cables as follows:
1. When it is getting dark outside, set the parking/emergency brake.
2. Open the hood.
3. Start the car and look under hood for "sparks" from the sparkplug cables to the engine (or other metal part).
4. DON'T TOUCH anything under the hood! The cables can shock you (bad!) or the fan can cut you or the Boogeyman may reach out ... (sorry)...
5. Turn off car .. that ends the cable spark test.
6. Replace ALL sparkplug cables if any create a light show under the hood.

Hope this helps!
(It's the plugs)

Most likely the coils. Easiest way to check is swap them with another cylinder, start it, pull the plug wire connecter and if it doesn't change the engine the coil is bad. If it is the injector, then you can check it with an ohm meter. Touch the leads in the injector it should read 11 to 15 ohms. if you need help let me know.

2006 escape low power

My guess is you have a timing issue - some cylinders are not firing or the wires are so bad that not enough current is transferred through to the spark plugs.

You may also need a new throttle linkage cable for the gas pedal sticking problem, but this is not related to the engine power, more likely a maintenance issue such as not being regularly cleaned and lubricated or lubed with the wrong type of lube that hardens in cold temperatures.

Clutch pedal straight to floor

If you put the trans in neutral and depress the clutch pedal it should still start.
The clutch is hydraulic, so there should be something connecting the pedal to the master cyl and the slave cyl to the clutch disk.

My 76 Chevy Blazer 4x4 slips out of gear. It is an automatic transmission with the floor shift for the 4x4. It will not stay in 4 high and will not work at all in 4 low. How do I fix this?

Motor and trans mounts worn or the body mounts worn letting it flex and nock it out of of Gear,,,if the truck is lifted/ or not you will need to in large the hole where the transfer case shifter comes the the floor,,,

Trans light comes on and then it won't shift into low

Sounds like either the range sensor is not properly adjusted or the kick down cable is not adjusted right. If the cable is not adjusted right early failure of the trans will happen. So if you can have them scan the van and see if the range selector which tells what gear its in is right and make sure the drown shift cable is adjusted right because thats what controls your shift pattern and controls and pressure to the trans.I hope that this helps you.Have a great day..
