That shows the window motor and wiring are good leaving one of the switches. There should be battery and ground at both switch connectors check to make sure, check switches, find the battery terminal on the switch use a test light to check the other 2 terminals as you move the switch it should light in both directions, Now locate the ground wire it has to be the other (middle) wire by connecting the ground clip on the test light to the positive wire you just checked, then check the ground side of the switch the same way as the battery side. Think of a domino with 6 dots one middle dot is battery and the other middle dot is ground when the switch is moved the upper or lower outside dots get battery and ground at the same time when the switch is moved the other direction the other outside dots get the power and ground. I hope this helps. Take care.

hi,
savvy engine is same with renault engine. there's a flywheel sensor/engine speed sensor between engine and gearbox. change the engine speed sensor.
The engine speed sensor is control the ignition timing, if the sensor can't read the 0' angle the engine won't fire up.
proton savvy ...good little car but often wont start ...turns over , no start ...llock it ,eave it , come back will start . when doesnt , kick the clutch pedal in hard 2-3 times ...neutral start switch may be sticky .. put into neutral , depress clutch & brake ...then started !
Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals with sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to current flow both into and out of the battery. Also check the battery in you key as the immobiliser may not be reading it.

i would diconnect the wiring connector to the sensor, to make sure the the inside of the connector is clean, and the terminals on the sensor are clean too, if so , then reconnnect it, to the sensor, then disconnect your positive battery cable for about 1 minute, then re connect it, then re start your vehichle, the engine light should be out, but since you disconnected your battery cable, you will have to reset your vehichles clock, and maybe some radio functions, hope that this information has helped you.
Did you clean the battery terminals before fitting the battery? It could be that you have some gunge sitting on the terminal that fits on the battery post, causing a bad connection. When you tap it it makes some connection but not strong enough to start the car.
