I have been turning wrenches for about 20+ years so I have gotten the feel of a torque wrench and can feel the torque to almost right on the money which the only purpose for torque is to prevent the stretching or breaking of a fastener However the torque on hub bearing bolts should be around 95 to 110 ftlbs you can go to ehow.com and just type the phrase how to remove and replace wheel hub on 2000 Pontiac grand am and it will give you different applications to choose from and you'll be on your way!

SOURCE: how to change stud in rear wheel hub assembly

Remove tire and wheel, remove caliper and brake rotor. DO NOT apply the brakes while the caliper is loose. Hit stud you want to replace hard with a LARGE HEAVY hammer to drive it out towards vehicle. DO NOT use a light hammer. It will distort the stud and possibly mushroom the end making it very difficult to remove. Once the stud is loose, you may or may not have enough room to get it out of the hole. You may need to pull the hub loose from the rear suspension to gain more room. Remove the stud. Place new stud in hole. Put a stack of washers over the stud, grease the threads, and using a new FLAT nut with the same threads as the lug nut, tighten until the stud is pulled all the way into the hub. Remove the flat nut, reattach the hub assembly (if you needed to take it loose) and reinstall the brakes.

SOURCE: what is the torque specs for the front wheel

Ford Front wheel bearings do have a torque spec. It is all over the new part to torque to MFR spec or damage will occur.
I have no idea what that spec is though.

SOURCE: I need to remove the

from looking at your part it looks like you will need a press to remove and install the new bearing most shops will do this for you at a reasonable price, you just have to remove the entire assembly for it to be pressed

My ABS, traction control, and steering assist lights are on in my 2004 pontiac grand prix gt. The rear wheel bearing assembly was just replaced. what would cause this?

Hi, the wheel speed sensor and tone ring are built into the bearing/hub assembly. Make sure the new hub contains an ABS wheel sensor and the cable was properly connected. If it is properly connected, the new hub may be defective.

What are the front wheel bearing torque specs? For 2000 Chev silverado 2500 4x4,motor 6.0.

Those vehicles should have a hub assembly which incorporates a bearing and hub in one unit. To my knowledge the bearing is not serviceable. The hub assembly is bolted to the steering knuckle, so there actually is no wheel bearing torque. The tire/wheel assembly bolts directly to the wheel flange on the new hub assembly.

Are the wheel bearings on 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT pressed on?

They are incorporated in the hub which bolts on to each spindle. A new hub and bearing assembly is what you replace if the bearing is bad

What tools do i need to replace front wheel bearing hub assembly

Floor jack- jack car up and put a jack stand under it. A tire lug to remove tire. A 36 mm socket to unbolt axle shaft sticking through bearing hub. Next a Brass hammer with a block of wood. Next center wood on axle shaft sticking through bearing hub and hit with a 4lb brass or steel hammer with a wood block on shaft. Next you need a 10mm or 12mm socket on back side of bearing hub should have 3 bolts holding it unbolt. Last use a pry bar and gradually pry bearing out and no there not pressed in like a lot of people think.
(Socket sizes maybe different)
If you take it somewhere it would cost about $800 and up.
