also the buzzer for that Keisha I'm at seat belt or charm all that noise that ever been and located in the dash behind the speedometer stuff you just gotta take the motherboard off around full circle thing in there it's the speaker listen to it you'll see what I'm talking about it does work take it apart pull it out break it to make sure you have everything plugged back in correctly you have you to hold that flooding down which I had to do it does work still be careful there you'll knock off all the utensils on the the arrows on the speedometer and odometer but make sure your radio and everything works out afterwards

SOURCE: Is there a passcode or sequence to disable the

yes there is, it sounds retarded, but

-Turn car keys to power up but not start the car.
-Wait till the seatbelt light goes out (about 8-10 seconds)
-Put the seat belt buckle on and off 3 times
-Turn your park lights on once
-Put your buckle on and off 7-10 times till the seatbelt light flashes rapidly
-Once the seatbelt light stops flashing
-Put the seatbelt on
-Start up your vehicle

Like i said, i know it sounds stupid, but it worked for me! Good luck!

SOURCE: door ajar light and chime come on while driving -

The switch on the door is going out. however the switch on that vehicle is located within the door latch. It is an easy repair at a shop. It is most likely on the driver's door because that is the most used door in the vehicle. You may also want to check the latch on the rear window because it will tell you the door is open when they are all closed. The switch malfunctioning will also lead to the lights staying on and therfore running down the battery. With a draw off the battery like that and the constant charging the alternator must do, the battery and the alternator will not last as long if you don't fix the problem with the switch.

SOURCE: chimes ring when you open drivers side door no keys in ignition

Sounds like the contact for the key chime in the steering column is shorted to ground. The only way to get the contact is to buy the clockspring. If you can live with it leave it alone. The clockspring is labor intense. You have to remove the airbag, steering wheel, and trim around column. If you ar mechanically inclined you could just disconnect it by cutting the wire going to the chime. It is under the key tumbler. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do you disable the door chime and key reminder

the switch is inside the steering column at the end of the ignition key lock switch. The chime is wired to other circuits as well. I would leave it be and wire the radio direct so no key is needed to turn the key on to play

2006 Ford F-250, 6.0 diesel pick-up. Please, could someone tell me which fuse runs the door ajar chime please?

There is no fuse just for door ajar chime.

Door Ajar Warning Chime The door ajar warning chime warns that a door is ajar. The door ajar warning chime is a single chime with a 1 second duration. The door ajar chime sounds when the driver or passenger door becomes ajar while the ignition switch is in the ON position.
The door ajar warning chime inputs are:
  • the ignition switch ON position
  • the door ajar switches
The output is the instrument cluster chime.

Trailblazer 2004 door chime disable its draining battery need to disable it where is it fuse or device . Faint sound chime all the time

You can't disable it , sound comes from the radio out of driver door speaker . The BCM - body control module sends this signal to the radio on serial data bus . A faulty input signal to BCM - door ajar switch probably . You need to take it to a qualified repair shop .

Door chimr module loca5ion 2005 taurus

There isn't a chime module , built into instrument cluster !
Door Ajar Chime
The door ajar chime feature is controlled by the smart junction box (SJB). The driver and passenger door ajar switches, and the lift gate are hardwired to the SJB. If any door or lift gate is sensed as being open, and the ignition switch is in RUN/START position, the SJB will process the input and sends a chime request to the instrument cluster over the controller area network (CAN).
Safety Belt Warning Chime
The safety belt chime feature is controlled by the restraints control module (RCM). The driver safety belt switch is hardwired to the RCM. The RCM communicates with the instrument cluster over a hardwire connection. If at any time during the first 6 seconds after the ignition switch is placed in RUN the driver safety belt is sensed as being unfastened, the RCM will process the input, and in turn, sends a chime request to the instrument cluster.
Do you know what C.A.N controller area network is ? Serial data communication bus.

Disable seatbelt chimes, will not go off, since driver door been replaced.

Sounds like the door switch is not switching or not connected. Sometimes the switch is external in the door jamb/closing area, sometimes it is part of the door catch. Maybe check if the door light on the dash stays on, also if the interior light works on door setting.

There is another legitimate and easy way to disable seat belt chime. Radio is supposed to stay on til door opens. That is correct

I have a 1997 toyota corolla that one of the chimes (seat belt, key ignition or lights) just started dinging and won't stop until the car is turned off.

Get in the car, make sure your dome light is set to door-operation.
Close all the doors, does the dome light go out?
If so, it's not the door ajar chime. If not, one of your door pin switches is defective.
Buckle your seatbelt, does the seatbelt warning light on the dash go out?
If so, it's not the seatbelt alarm. If not, it's the seatbelt buckle receiver.
The light warning works with the key off, so it is not that since turning the car off would not stop it.
Last thing it could be is the ignition key alarm.
I have seen a few malfunction over the years.

Ignition alarm will not stop 97 ford f150

The key switch usually breaks or wears out and makes contact. It is on the lock cylinder. This would cause the chime to not come on, or stay on. Sounds like the switch is bad.

1997 F-150/250 Warning Chime, Key-In-Ignition The key-in-ignition chime warns that the key is still in the ignition when the driver's door is ajar. The key-in-ignition warning chime will sound when:
  • GEM: Driver door is ajar, the ignition switch is in the OFF/LOCK or ACC position and the keys are in the ignition.
  • CTM: Driver door is ajar, the ignition switch is in the OFF/LOCK, ACC or RUN position and the keys are in the ignition.
The key-in-ignition warning chime will stop sounding when:
  • Driver door is closed.
  • Key is removed from the ignition.
  • GEM: Ignition switch is switched to the RUN position.
The key-in-ignition warning chime inputs are:
  • Ignition switch RUN position (battery potential on both RUN and RUN/ACC inputs).
  • Ignition switch ACC position (battery potential on RUN/ACC input only).
  • Key-in-ignition switch (grounded with key-in-ignition, open circuit with key-out).
  • LH door ajar switch (open circuit with door closed, grounded with door ajar).
This is a pic for a 98, could not find one for 97 which may be the older style which is more prone to break.
