On the 3.2L distriburorless ignition, the firing order is a straight 1-2-3-4-5-6.

RIGHT BANK (RIGHT AS IN SITTING IN THE DRIVERS SEAT NOT STANDING IN FRONT OF THE CAR)STARTING AT FRONT IS CYLINDER 1 THEN 3 THEN 5 THEN THE LEFT BANK IS CYLINDER 2,4,6, FRONT TO REAR... THE COILS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT (STANDING IN FRONT OF CAR) ARE 1,4,6,3,2,5 HOPE THIS HELPS

SOURCE: water pump replacement 96 isuzu rodeo

Remove belt, fan, fan shroud and fan bracket. Remove timing covers, timing belt and water pump. Replace timing belt and the hydraulic tensioner with new ones. I suggest you get a mechanic to do this as you can easly get it out of time. Not an easy job.

The thermostat is located at the end of the top radiator hose on engine.

get under the truck and hit the tank hard with your hand the pump may be stuck a couple good wacks might work
