Vehicle Immobilized Indicates that the Passive Anti-Theft system (PATS) has determined a theft condition existed and the engine is disabled. Possible anti theft but I think that you have a blown fuse go to ford owners manual.com and register for free then download the manual then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams and values for ignition and fuel pump as well as others //// when you put the key in does the pats system light start to rapidly flash or does it go out while cranking if rapidly the anti theft is activated or somehow your key was erased check PCM fuse ignition fuel pump coils injectors
Theft light has something to do with the anti theft security system. I know that on GM vehicles, when the TRANSPONDER in the key does not give the correct signal or when the ignition reads the signal wrong, the computer will shut off the injectors or fuel pump. Sounds like this is your problem. THEFT light is an immobilizing problem. Thats why the truck wont run.
is the anti theft light flashing, the little red light on the center of the dash ? if the answer is yes then your key has been erased from the SUV's immobilizer and has to be reprogramed or replaced with another key that is then programmed into the vehicle's immobilizer. As long as that light flashes there is no way to start the vehicle.
