2004 buick lasabre wipers won't work, need to know which wires are 'hot to make motor run. trying to determine if it is the motor or the wiper/turn-signal switch that is bad.

Have checked fuses & relays. Nothing appears bad but nothing is labeled as being for the wipers specifically. Need to know what wires control wiper motor so I can determine if the motor is bad or the switch is bad.

I have a 2004 buick lasabre the wipers stopped working the fuse wasn't blown but changed it anyway. Still not working help please

First thoughts is to check the voltage at the wiper motor. It the motor has power, the motor probably has failed. If there is no power at the motor, look for a short or some connection has come loose.

2004 buick LaSaber windsheild wipers stopped working after I turned them off. Came on again for short time a few days later but soon quite again.

Try checking your wiper fuse first. If the fuse checks out, make sure the motor is running. Check to make sure no wires are burnt around the motor or loose. If the motor checks out, it could be your wiper switch.

My 1997 buick lasabre you turn th wiper on and the mortor runs but wiper dont move someone said the wipwer arms may be striped how do i gat new ones or replace them

First locate the hold down bolt on each wiper arm...try to tighten...BUT FIRST be sure the wipers are in the off...and down position...you can verify this by turning them off while your Lesabre is running...If tightening them both does not fix...yes you will need to replace the entire wiper arm assembly...most salvage yards have plenty of parts for your popular Buick...Hope this helps...:)

with the key on and the wiper switch in the low or high position tap the wiper motor with a screwdriver handle. If it starts working replace the wiper motor.

Where is the windshield wiper motor on a 2004 Buick Lasabre?

if you look between the hood and the wipers, there is that channel that runs through there. there should be holders that hold it into the steel, to remove thes holders you will have to pull on the smaller circle until it pops out like a pop up timer on a turkey, then pull on the second circle. once all of these and any screws are removed you should be able to pull it off, there will most likely be another cover (unless it has already been removed) and that is why it is hard to find the motor. If your car has the wipers always up; say you run them and then it tries to stop in the correct spot but then goes back up on the windsheild, then something was probably damaged because of ice. there are cam switches in the motor that can sometimes be readjusted, however most of the time you wil have to replace the motor
