Where is fuse for cigar lighter jag x type 2056 2.2 diesel

John, Open passenger door wide, fuse box, passenger side end of dash, under removable trim cover.
The fuse marked Cigar Ltr./Aux.Pwr. 20 amp. is the fuse you want to look at. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

Does your cigar lighter work? If so maybe something wrong with your charger?

My wiring database won't have anything on a vehicle this new. So I can't track the cigar lighter wiring circuit. Check your fuse box lid, see if it has a label for which fuse does what, then check the cigar fuse. I looked at your owners manual, not any help. Hopefully your fuse box is labeled.

You could go to your local dealer ship, talk to the service department, see if they will give you a print-out of your fuse box, so you will know which fuse does what.

there could be no screw, maybe clippers holds that. try pull the frame with hand to unclip, could be bad connection in back of cigar lighter or bad wiring

there is a plug on the back of the lighter that likes to come off. You will have to remove the Lighter to check or the panel its attached to.

lok inside the plug and wires to make sure nothing is touching then try the fuse
the owns manual will tell you the diff. fuses too

The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box on the driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse.
When you open this fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The fuse you are looking for is the first fuse in the 2nd row. in the 2002 X-type, that fuse is a little taller than the other ones.
