Check fuses on panel, then check all connectors, check for kinked or frayed wire, then lastly, the circuit board for your panel! Not an easy task as you are checking for continuity between connections. If its the circuit board on your arm rest I would suggest a junk yard for a known good operating board. This could be caused by several things: (1) Sensor is bad & ya they can and do go bad. (2) Your shocks may need to be replaced. (3)you would want to diagnose if you have a problem with your AHC.
Unfortunately, the only test I know of is to check if your globes are bad via the "Height Test".
I have no way of knowing whether the other components are bad or if my ride is standard / okay. I just have a gut feeling that it can be improved. At worse, you'll be extending the life of your AHC by reducing wear on it.
AHC height test.
Put vehicle in LOW. Mark fluid level in AHC reservoir.
Put vehicle in HIGH.
Number of graduations (ticks) on the reservoir from LO to HI should be at least 7. If less, your globes are shot and it's very expensive to replace.

AHC fluid? Where does it go into? Power steering? Is it fan fluid?I'm not joking. it is for the suspension. NO. You need to get the correct fluid.See this....

this sounds like a height sensor is broken in the rear....ur best bet is to bring it to a qualified service repair center an have body codes pulled on this....if the height sensor is the prob it will be a easy repair since they r located on the control arms which have easy access...this will also cause the vsc lite to come on since the height control is incorporated into this circuit...as for ur nav screen its sounds like a seperate problem but codes can also be pulled for this also....i would say for the nav screen to take it to a lexus dealer, im sure they have seen this prob before so u wont be paying extra labor time for them to find the prob

here is a good write up on the AHC system and its funcitons, more than likely the hydro-pneumatic accumulator which i believe is mounted on the frame rail under the passenger rear door has failed and more than likely will need to be replaced. I don't believe they can be rebuilt.

AHC MOTOR SHORTING

toyota landcruiser hdj101 my problem is ahc not working.1 the switch was not working ,but we fix dat. 2.the fuild had water and slush at the bottom ,so we drain the whole entire system ,the van is low. 3. place back fluid and starting to bleed the system,from the pump go down. pressure is coming in until the hydraulic valve but not out .what did i do wrong,or forget to do. is it the oil or what .can you help me.

Caution on what to put in the LX470 automatic height adjustment system. Dealer said unless correct fluid is put in the system the seals may fail. Specifically warned against break fluid. Cost to repair is over $3,000. I bought a can of the fluid at the Lexus dealer for about $26. The can was approx. 1/2 gallon.
