There is a switch inside the turn signal that can break, causing it to only work intermittently or not at all. The switch is inside the steering column, which has some very sensitive electronics inside it, including circuits for the airbag. My advise is to take it to a dealership and have them replace the turn signal switch. You really don't want to drive without functioning turn signals. If you get into an accident, you will get cited for the equipment failure, and possibly be found at fault for the accident. Hopefully that will not happen.
You mean it randomly blinks on either side? If so a shorted relay sounds like the problem. Put the hazard lamps on then off and retry the indicators.

You did not say if the right signal blinks ok or not. Assuming it blinks like the left, the best way to find the blinker is to leave the engine off but the key switch on and turn your blinker on. Now LISTEN and you should hear the clicking. If the right side blinker is normal then you may have a bad turn signal bulb or ground to one of the signal bulbs. An easy way to check your turn signal bulbs is to turn on your emergency flashers and look at the bulbs, they all should blink at the same time and with the same brightness. Good Luck

HI, this is a defective flasher relay. you will need to replace this relay asap. this will fix your issue.
The flasher relay is located behind the lower left side dash panel/knee bar.

Happened to me too, when the ECO light comes on automaticly (and it only blows hot air) it means it's simply broke.
I don't know the exact production date of your car, but there is/was an airco-related dealer recall for some cars, so just contact your dealer and have it fixed, but don't forget to mention the recall (it might save you a lot of money when your warranty has already expired).

unplug the light. you will find a bit of rust on the + contact. that's the cause. I think it sparks sometimes and the computer shuts down the whole lamp. use a nail file or smooth sandpaper to clean the contact and there you have it... good luck. ;)
