TAKE AN INCENSE, LIGHT IT IN YOUR CAR, LET THE CAR FILL WITH SMOKE. LOOK FOR SMOKE LEAKING FROM AROUND DOORS, WINDSHEILD ETC. THAT WILL HELP YOU LOCATE WHERE THE LEAK AREA IS.

Check all weep holes for clogs below the windshield, it sounds like it may be coming from the fresh air intake. During the heavy rain, it will fill up with water if the weep holes are clogged.

SOURCE: water leak
Water leak test the windshield . Carpet should be removed and dried out, Replace matting if necessary, because it will NEVER dry. Look by front firewall floor for drippage. Windshield moldings must be removed if resealing is nec, and be sure to use a neoprene water resistant windshield sealer. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2003 impala leaks from under glove box
If you want to know the where the water is coming from, water is entering from the passenger side front cowl. ( the vent below the windshield that sucks the air in for your a/c and heat) there is a recall where chevy installs a plate under the cowl and diverts water out. There is your answer.

SOURCE: passenger floor wet
Sounds like your windshield is leaking. Try a little clear silicone caulk around the gasket and it may solve your problem. Be neat about it!

SOURCE: 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe-front passenger side floor is wet
Sounds like condensate from the air condition coil, not from a heater coil.
If the drain for that is stopped up, can "overflow" into passenger side of car, very common problem.
If freon is low, causing the coil to freeze over, then thaw when you are parked, very likely.
And that will be clear liquid, not color of anti-freeze.

SOURCE: Driver's side windshield wiper stopped working.
Hello, I would say that is exactly what has happened. If you can move the wipers with no resistance it's likely one of the bolts has come loose. Both wiper arms are linked to one wiper motor.
