Too much trouble to get the key that way. Use a very small drill bit in a Dremel style rotary tool to drill a hole on the end of the key. Use a paper clip to remove the broken key out of the cylinder.

HI you need to remove all the bolts that attach rear cover to block and remove the oil pan to gain access to bolt that hold rear timing cover to upper pan hope thie helps.

The crankshaft position sensor is located on the back side of the engine, in the engine block near the oil pan towards the transmission. If you take the engine cover off of the top of the engine and look down the back of the block past the intake you can see the sensor and the harness going to it.
