Could be low level/oil/pressure so not getting around the rockers quickly enough . i'd advice a oil and filter change , use the best grade oil recommended for your vehicle

If you have adjusted your valves and the ticking persists then try changing your exhaust manifold gasket. A leaking exhaust manifold gasket will often make a loud ticking sound.
It does sound like a valve lifter problem to me also. It should be covered under warranty. It's a mechanical failure of a component of the drivetrain. Ask them to show you the specific exclusion if they say it's not a warranty problem.Powertrain warranty is 60 months/60,000 miles ( which ever comes first).
sounds like heater control valve situated under scullle panel common fault on ka set heater fan switch half way between hot and cold with heater blowing then touch valve if pulsing or clicking noise it is faulty if doesnt solve problem faulty switch
If it's not a loud ticking noise, it could be your lifters or valve pushers, which would mean your oil is too thick to get there when it's cold. Change your oil viscosity to a lower indice (if it's 10W30 go with 5W30 for example) and let me know what happens.
could be that your oil pump is clogged. your ticking it probably your valves starving for oil. Alot of times your oil will be fine but your oil pump will get clogged and cause the iol to take time to get to rhe valves
