If you have the V8 engine, the filter is actually part of the fuel pump. WHICH IS IN THE TANK

Can b many things..easy ones being spark plug/wire/injector malfunction...but it can b as bad as a bad head gasket
And coolant leaking into cylinder 1...

I have a 97 grande cherokee limited v-8 that will die while driving. it usually starts back up on the 1st or 2nd try. autozone checked battery, starter and alternator and all were good. does it just need...

Hi...I think it is very possible that your fuel pump could be starting to go bad, which can go with or without notice or symptoms...yours seems to be giving you notice!

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo rwd it has 123000 miles on it. When I start and go jeep runs fine after a short while it loses power and only goes about 1mph. Break light also wont work can't...

Sounds like a plugged up catalytic converter to me and the other just sounds like a bad brake light switch

Change the crank sensor. If you don't know where it is buy a book at a parts store on a 1997 jeep grand cherokee cost about 20 bucks

Check engine light on,1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee,4.0 six cylinder.code 1757.cleared code,comes back on after a few minutes of driving. Trans is sluggish,when pulling out,after a complete stop.

I just had those similar symptoms with my 97 grand cherokee a week ago and my crankshaft position sensor had to be replaced...hope this helps.

is the compressor comeing on ?
if not, it is low on gas, or compressor is bad .
