1995 montero 3.0 no spark on coil #3

I have a 1995 montero 3.0 vehicle would not start . It had no spark and intermittent spark. I had the ECM rebuilt and still the same problem.
I replaced the crank sensor . The first 2 coils are sparking but coil #3 has no spark. I switched coil 2 and 3 to test the coil but still no spark on coil 3. So there is no signal coming from the wires for coil # 3
Any ideas, Please help
Thanks ,
Dave

Check the jack pins condition, check for brakes, check the harnhes for broken wires, try an other ecm from a junked or salvage or borrowed and see if it makes any difference

86 4.3 4BC 1500 Chevy Die rolling up to light Started up and ch of fuel and it died 3 times now no start smell fuel and quit yellow spark Have replaced cap rotor plugs wires EGR coil ECM Rebuilt carb

It sounds more like a fuel problem to me then a bad coil or spark ign the spark should be blue but its hard to see in daylight
You say you rebuilt the carb are you sure your main mixture jets are at least 2 to 3 turns out off the stops .
Try pouring fuel down the barrel fill the float bowl if it runs then dies its fuel don't let it catch unfire you should have 45 sec. of run time then adjust the the mixture screws 2 turns is base but when its is running good turn them in 1 at a time and give it 30 sec. to adjust until it starts to stumble then back it out a 1/4 two 1/2 turn then repeat on bank 2

1995 ford ranger onlu sparking to 3 cylinders

The coils are fired by the ECM, check all the wires to the ECM from the coils and make sure the signal is getting through and you don't have a wiring issue at the engine firewall connector on the driver side firewall.

I get no spark at coil pack 3 & 6 on my 97

If you are positive that you have no spark than you either have a wiring problem to the computer or the computer has a bad "Driver" in it. Don't guess on this one. The ECM is very expensive. Get a pro to scan the computer and perform the necessary pin-point tests

92 Mitsubishi montero uses coils

The coils get power from the ecm. I would check all the ground wires between the body and the engine. Even if you just add a few. Take a wire around the same gauge as a lead cord, put two ring terminals on it and use some of the screws like a bracket hold down bolt on the firewall and a bracket on the engine. Make sure you clean the paint off of the area the wires will be contacting to make a good connection. If that doesn't help, you may have a bad ecm sending too much voltage to the coils.

1991 mitsubushi montero, EFI. Will not start. When I pulled the wire from the coil out of the top of the distributor and turned the key on to see if there was spark I found it was a continious high...

coil is continuous electric, spark comes out of distributor cap . if you have a timing light hook to wires near plug for spark. no spark look at ignition switch. there is a bleeder valve on fuel rail check for pressure. check ECM fuze.
