SOURCE: Audi 80 oil pressure light

i think from memory that the oil pressure switch is at the back of the cylinder head, if its not there it will be located just above the oil filter, these switches are very cheep to buy and can be bought from any good motor factors. You are right to suspect the switch, its the first thing to eliminate before bogging your self down with more complicated and expensive problems.

Hi I have a 94 audi v6 and wont start there seems to be no power to injectors or spark plugs, fuel pump working . Not sure what to do

Also check the fuel pressure regulator - I had a similar starting issue and seemed to have cured it by replacing the fuel pressure regulator.

1990 subaru legacy wagon fuel injectors are not getting fuel to start it

Check the pressure to the fuel rail then check it at the line before the fuel pressure regulator, it should be between 55 and 80 psi at the rail and 100 psi before the regulator, if you don't have pressure before the regulator then you have a fuel pump issue, if the rail pressure is low then you may need to replace the regulator.

Starts ok lst time, then if shut off and started again in about 5 minutes it acts like it is not getting enough fuel. I do not have a gas pressure guage. I am buckholz1 password e6df2. thank you Jean

a good starting point would be to locate the fuel pressure regulator. after you try to start it pull the rubber hose leading to the regulator if ANYTHING drips out of the hose, you need a new regulator, cheap and easy. Just a starting point
