Where is the thermostat on the 2004 optra chevrolet located

Standing at the front of the car looking at the intake manifold, its on the right hand side of the manifold about 6 inches down from the valve cover under a black cap with a 32mm top on it.

on the flywheel ,a rectangular hole the mark appears in this as the flywheel is turned
