SOURCE: I have a 1994 Toyota

Hi. sounds like your ignition lock is stickey not retracting all the way thus meeting partially with the ''hole'' its supposed to lock in, in the steering coulomb. i suggest you remove ,properly clean and inspect the lock for problem areas, kindly lubricate the involved bits and test, if all fails replace the ignition lock.

SOURCE: 1998 Toyota Corolla poor gas milage

first i would change the fuel filter. this is the number one reason for poor gas milage. the engine tries to compansate for the lack of fuel and in the long run this weakens your fuel pump and it will fail sooner rather than later. i als would check the air filter. if the engine can't breath properly it will lose power. if you have not had a tune up I would suggest getting one. this most certainly help boost the performance of your vehicle. i would try and use an additive in your fuel to clean the injectors clogged injectors will make the engine run rough and cause hard starting and rough idle.. the last thing i would have you check is the throttle positon sensor and the O2 sensor. take it to a shop and have them hook a diagnostic scan tool to it this will show if either of these sensors are bad or if they threw a code and the computer is trying to overcompensate for the lack of fuel. hope these options help you. please rate this solution thanks

SOURCE: 1985 Toyota Corolla Intermittently runs rough-no power

Try this: Remove the two (primary & secondary) vacuum diaphram covers & inspect the vacuum diaphrams. If there is any evidence of distortion at the diaphrams, expect to get the condition that you are describing.

2000 toyota corolla 4 cylinder runs and idle rough after the car gets warm or run for a while. the engine shakes like a spark or cylinder is missing or not getting fire.

If it has been awhile since you have had a tune up, thats what I would do first. My car did the same thing and a tune up fixed it. If your check engine light is on, try to get a code. That will pinpoint you in the right direction. If you need anything else, feel free to write back.

1991 Toyota Corolla loud and sluggish

You need to do a compression test on the engine cylinders. It appears one of the cylinders is not firing and dragging the rest of the engine down in power. The compression test will show if one of the cylinders has a problem.

Sudden loss of power, Backfiring, starts then stalls

Your timing belt could be broken. You want to have this checked as soon as possible to prevent any further engine problems.
