34 code 88 camero - 1988 Chevrolet Camaro

No code ???? Where ? PCM - engine computer - OBD 2 ???? HVAC control panel ? Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

What is engine size?
88 Camaro-- tbi fuel injection?
Is there a pellet in the key/security system?
Have you checked for applicable trouble codes?

GM OBD 1 Code 34

T tops are well known for leaking.. I would suggest replacing the seals on tops and around the frame..

the ones with a sunroof have drains as they are designed to leak , the t tops are meant to seal completely and have no drains

This trouble code could be 3 different possibilities...

Code 18 can be any of the following:

DTC 18 ABS Enable Relay Coil Circuit Shorted To Battery
DTC 18 Injector Circuit Malfuntion
DTC 18 Discriminating Sensor Interconnect Open (Supplemental Inflatable Restraints)

You are in luck if you take the vin number of the vehicle with proof of ownership to the dealer they can cut the key for that vehicle however they may only cut keys so many years back not sure but if that happens the camaro ignition in that year is fairly easy to change but try the dealer first have a wonderful day

Real simple raise the car in the rear the fuel filter is under the car by the gas tank you should need a 5/8 and a 13/16 wrench and a 10mm or 1/2 in socket be sure to hold filter to avoid damage to orings on the lines

24 is for the TPS and 34 is for the MAP sensor. But not on a 70ish camaro. It has to be 1982 or newer

yes this should work fine same bell housing just make sure the flywheel and the convertor are the right ones
