Question about 2002 Honda Odyssey
Car worked fine yesterday. Today I tried starting it and nothing happened, no sound at all, no click, nothing. Thought it was battery, but lights go on, auto doors slide, battery tested over 12. Tried putting it in nuetral with foot on breaks, still nothing. Auto-theft light over radio continues to blink though, even with key turned. Any easy way to tell what is wrong?
If you can get it to an auto parts store they can hook up a computer thing and tell you whats wrong. sounds alot like a bad starter.

either your alternator has gone or your fan belt is not there which helps the alternator to charge the battery get a volt meter on your alternator to see if it is kicking out what it should be

you are right, some Honda's have a radio code, most of the time on the radio chassis itself, but like my sisters she had to gone online and give them her VIN and they sent her the code

the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck
