SOURCE: Replacement valet key

you HAVE to get it from a nissan dealer.the valet key has a tooth cut that is different,so that is does open the trunk or glovebox and there is a lockout switch in the glovebox.
but there is a chip in the key and the car will not start without it.
if you try to start the car a few times without the chip, the car will have to be towed to get the body control module re programmed .

SOURCE: Avital 473L bought for a 99 Nissan maximal. How to

Some of those cars did not have that option on them. You must frist open the drivers door. then press the lock button on the main switch oin the door. Then close the door and slowly insert the key 6 times within 10 seconds but do not go to fast and when the flashers blink then turn the key to the ACC potion and press one of the buttons on the remote.

I had a avital remote start pot on a 2004 chevy venture van. everything worked ok for a month then the remote locks, poer windows and dome lights quit working. are they all connected together for the...

Avital is one brand of remote starter that features easy-to-use keyless remotes. These remotes can be programmed wirelessly to your engine and then added to your keychain. Once programmed, you will be able to use the remote from as far as a couple hundred feet away in your house, the street or a parking lot. If your remote is not working, you can troubleshoot the remote and get it resynced in seconds.
  • Enter your caricon1.png, leave your driver's door open and insert your key into the ignition.
  • 2 Turn the ignition to the "On" position and press and release the "Valet" button on your remote.
  • Press and hold the "Valet" switch again after releasing the first time and wait for the system's siren to chirp and the LED lighticon1.png to blink.

  • 4 Continue holding the "Valet" button and then press the starter button on your remote.
  • 5 Wait for another chirp and release both buttons to complete the process.

Nissan armada Tire Pressure Sensor Stays on

I have replaced lots of Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) sensors due to dead batteries. The batteries are not replaceable, so you have to replace the whole sensor, which is part of the valve stem.

You will have to take your vehicle to your local dealer because they have to use CONSULT-II, the Nissan scan tool, to program the new sensor to the vehicle.

These sensors usually run in the $100 range.
