My passenger side turn signal is flashing rapidly. The display indicator shows it is the front signal. I changed the front and side indicator lights. It didn't help. Any idea what the problem is?
I changed the tail light (brake). The rear turn signal light looked okay. Could it be the problem and the indicator light in the car still show that it is the front signal that is the problem?I changed the tail light (brake). The rear turn signal light looked okay. Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.
Get the left signal to flash fast then walk around the car to see which light isn't flashing then change the bulb or socket if they all appear to be flashing (front and rear) turn on the right turn signal then look into the front and rear lens and count the number of bulbs flashing, now do the same thing on the left. Many times there's more than 1 bulb in each lamp. I hope this helps. Take care.
I'm sure you did already but make sure all turn signals are working, check all of your running lights w/ headlights on then headlights off next Ck the 4 way flashers.. Check headlights too. If all is well R/R the flasher. (located in the fuse box, you'll hear it ticking with the signals on) Good luck
replace the right rear bulb. the quick flashing indicates a bad bulb. it could be a wiring problem to the rear for the signal light that you will have to check out starting at the socket and working forward.
bad earth on a back light i suspect providing their europeon standard lights with yellow seperate indicators and not them funny american ones with a stop and tail and indicators all on the one bulb
This may have more then one bulb in the front or possibly a bad socket try wiggling the new bulb in the socket to see if it will work.Compare all turn signal lights that come on the passenger side to those drivers side. Some vehicles also incorporate sidemarker lights with the turn signals.
I changed the tail light (brake). The rear turn signal light looked okay. Could it be the problem and the indicator light in the car still show that it is the front signal that is the problem?
Have you checked the tail light bulbs?
