SOURCE: radio code

You need to leave stereo on for up to an hour with ignition in position two , this will then allow you to re enter code

SOURCE: I changed the battery in

So if you were to pay a dealer for their time & have it
taken into the service bay, not a single tech could put
in a radio code
That is pure non sense

Sorry, I had to say something & I don't have your owners
manual or any other material to help you

Try asking another dealer, or see if you can have it
done with a scan tool at a local repair shop

SOURCE: Disc 2 Alpine radio ask for code ,Do have code but radio does not allow to enter code

Leave the radio on, until it displays the word "CODE".
then you can enter the code using numbers 1 to 4.

The time until "CODE" is displayed depends on the number of previous wrong entries. 1 minute for one wrong entry, 2 hours for 5 wrong entries.

Just put the radio on and leave it that way until it says "CODE"

How do you put codes into the radio cd player for a renalt scenic 2000 modle

hi what you is supply the make of it ie phillips, sony, that sort of thing and the serial number on the head unit then i might be able to help with a code, although, if you have imputed the code incorrectly 3 or more times the radio will become locked out and be unusable as this is an anti theft thing to make it unsaleable to thieves....if you have not put it in 3 or more times then we can see if i can supply a code for you

Cant enter code to acess cars audio system

There is not a "universal code" for your factory radio to unlock it. If you cannot find the original manual with the numbers and instructions, you have to contact a Honda dealer with you VIN # of your vehicle. They can help you from there.

After replacing the battery, the audio system is in operable without a code. but it wont allow me to enter numbers above 6, or anything else

hit it with a hammer ?¿? it might not have a number above six?? or you have to use the volume control or tuner or something. What i often do is to locate a main dealers then look for the nearest cafe to it and wait for some of the mechanics to come in for coffee and ask them .

Problem with entering anti-theft radio code for Honda Fit: The radio screen says: "Enter Code:" I enter the confirmed correct code, but when doing so when the actual code (all numbers) turn into letters or...

when you use the "preset keys" (the keys on the radio with numbers on them) to enter the code, each time you press a code number, a letter appears [c, o, d, e]. once the word is spelled out, from entering the correct 5 digits, the radio is reset, ready to go.

BUT if you miss a number, enter a wrong number, whatever, each number pressed, still makes a letter appear from the word "code". once the word is spelled out, by entering ANY 5 numbers, if ANY of the 5 is wrong, the radio displays a message "Error" and then a number 1 thru 10.

When you see the word "Error..."

the next preset button you push, starts the whole thing over again. The radio says "Enter code". That is when you enter the 1st of the 5 digits, the letter C appears, enter the next digit, the letter O appears, enter the next digit, the letter D appears, enter the last digit, the letter E apperas, the radio is reset, ready to go, if you got the 5 correct numbers entered.

you have 10 chances to enter the right 5 digit code. Each wrong try of 5 digits yeilds a display of "Error 1", "Error 2", "Error 3", etc 'till you get to 10 incorrect tries of 5 digits each.

If you dont get it right in 10 tries, you have to leave the radio "on" for an hour, then it will let you start the 10 tries over again.

Good luck!
