SOURCE: need to know what a p1000 diagnostic code means for a jaguar s ty
Looks like you have acommunication problem with the computer, it is going in to safe mode. Check all computer connections before you go to jaguar.
I have attached a picture of the error code.
hope this helps
SOURCE: Have error codes C1175 &
C1175
ABS/TCCM
Anti-lock braking / traction control
LH rear wheel speed sensor circuit fault
ABS/TCCM to wheel speed sensor signal circuit (FH33-21): open circuit,
short circuit to ground, short circuit to B+ voltage, high resistance
LH rear wheel speed sensor failure
P1000 is for check not complete after last memory clear , dont worry about it , just stick with C1175 , and most probably it is the sensor wire
SOURCE: can you tell me what these two codes are P1000 and
Po code 1000 is system readyness test, it means it has not met all condtions or flags since last reset of the computer. and the other
C1165-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear electrical failure and C1235-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear signal failure

SOURCE: my 2002 jaguar x type 3.0 has the p1000 code when
P1000 is an indication that the self diagnosis was not compleated for some reason. This code will clear, if there are no other problems and the test compleates. The test normally requires about 25- 50 miles of steady driving at speeds below 50 mph. please see www.bluejag.co.uk for more information on fault codes

You might check this site out for Jag codes. Oxygen sensors can be a sticky job, they're screwed into exhaust and can literally weld themselves in place. Plus in most cases you need special wrench/socket to get around the sensor. (they can be a real pain)
