Question about 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

98 Pontiac Grand Prix load front end roaring?

I have a 98 Ponitac Grand Prix GT. Soon as you start going it starts roaring. Gets loader the faster you go till around 70 mph. When I am turning to the right a little while going 60 mph the sounds quiets down. Only to the right. I have replaced both wheel bearings, got brand new tires, new brakes. Didnt stop the roaring. It dont have a clicking sound. Doesnt make any noise while turning sharp. Would it be cv axles, rack & pinion, transmission, etc?

Defective fan clutch, if it has one. With a cold engine only, try spinning the fan blade by hand. If it does not turn freely, the fan clutch is defective. Warning: When the engine is hot, the fan can turn on by itself with the car not running and keys are NOT in the ignition.

Did it make the rumbling sound befor you did the brakes? If so check the muffler, motor mounts. New brakes might make a little scraping noise while wearing in but I dont know about the clicking.Did you overtighten the wheel bearings. They have to be tightened then backed off a little bit before putting the pin back in. Have you checked the back brakes?

SOURCE: noise from the front

Car will pull if brake is binding...as soon as your speed cannot overcome the amount of braking being applied. Be careful when examining it the rotor will be much hotter than normal. (sometimes will turn blue and warp as well)

That is the classic sign of a bad wheel bearing. Put the front of the car on jack stands and push-pull on the wheel. Which ever one moves or clunks has the bad wheel bearing. You can also try pushing/pulling from the top and bottom if you can't get movement pushing/pulling in and out.
