2002 deville. I put air cond on and most of the time I hear a clicking noise under the dash and can't get the air to come out of the dash vents but every once in a while it does. when it did, it was warm so I charged it with the correct 134a refridgeraand only the passenger side dash vents blew cold air,not the drivers side. Also after I turned the car off and started it later,It just blew out of the bottom for a couple of days and was clicking every time I put it on. I can only get air to switch to the dash vents every once in a while. Can you help me?

Does you car come equipped with Air Ride Suspension? I am betting it does and there is a Air Leak and it is just pumping up the system due to the leak.

Without getting under the car, this is my gut impression, maybe you could look yourself and see if you can locate the noise. The System that you are looking at will look something like this...

My 01 deville makes a funny sound under the dash like a clicking noise untill the back air ride stabilizes is that the air pump going bad?????

I have a 2000 deville dts that was doing
the same thing. The problem was the mode door actuator located behind and to the left of the glove box. There is only one there and it is about a 3"x5" black box. Disconnect the electrical connector, two 5.5 mm screws, a little wiggling and pulling straight out, and it's out.

I have a 2002 Galant. Air works fine, but when I switch cold/hot switch to hot it does not work. Once in awhile when the switch is turned to hot you can hear clicking noise. Like a door is closing or...

There is an electric motor that turns heater core on and off. It's located under the dash to the left of the glove box. Some disassembly required. The part will cost about $120 to $180. part number is #MR958603. I saved money by purchasing it on line. It is a stocking part at most Mitsubishi dealers. Once you pull the glove box out and remove the bottom half of the dash all the way across, you should be able to gain access to the motor to replace it. Caution: if you do not put everything back in correctly and tie/tape it all back down carefully in the correct places you will have lots of under the dash noises when you are done.

2002 durango, front blower does not work at any speed.

This happened 3 times to me. It's a $15 circuit that connects with 2 screws under the dash near the blower. Dodge should have recalled for this.

Motor knocks when first started

It sounds like the lifters are draining down over night. When was the last time you changed the oil? A fresh oil change may do the trick, if not try some hydraulic lifter additive ( you just add to the engine oil)

Air or heat will not switch from lower to upper dash vents

you might have a vacuum leak ,a broken or loose vacuum hose to one of the actuatores that open and close the vents
