My blower only works on high or medium not the low setting

Hi!!
The problem is the Blower Motor Switch/Resistor. Replace it. $20 at AutoZone or similar Auto parts store.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

this is because your blower motor resisters are burned out for speeds 1,2 & 3. High speed does not have a resister.
Replace the resister. If it goes a 2nd time, it is because your blower motor is failing & drawing too much current.
it is behind the glove box I think. It is in the plenum case where air blowing on it keeps it cool.
Easy repair. May need to access throught glove box which should open all the way down when you squeeze the sides in.
Go to tascafordparts.com for a discounted resister.
Please rate as solved problem if this is what you needed.

It may be located on/near the evaporator case where the big (suction) line comes out.

Heat limiting capacitor is blown on low side. Limits excessive heat to components. Three capacitors on one board. One is constant. One runs two lower speeds and other runs two higher speeds. Need to replace. Follow wire from blower motor back towards center of vehicle. The capacitor is approx. 1.5" X 2.5" and is mounted with two screws. Simply remove plug and two screws, pull out capacitor. Replace with new in reverse order. Did last year. Part was relatively cheap and easy to replace. You do have to be somewhat limber to fingers and tools under there.
Good luck.

The blower motor resister module is bad, even if the blower motor sounds good,it is the cause of the resister failing, the blower motor is drawing too many amps.So change it also, the resister is located near the blower motor, and is mounted on the blower box,but actually goes inside the blower box to keep it cool.If this was at all helpful, please rate thank you.
